The excitement for my trip to Blade Show is so incredibly real right now… and at the exact same time my paranoia is rising just as fast.
Why? Because of the amount of flights I need to catch in order to get there and the impressive list of things that could go wrong along the way, most of which are completely out of my hands. Delays, missed connections, luggage doing its own sightseeing tour somewhere across the Atlantic… you name it.
My trip begins tomorrow. Wish me luck.
With that being said, who is going? I heard @notoriousedc is bringing some great stuff that is definitely worth stopping by and checking out.

I cannot wait to finally hang out, shake some hands and chat with many of you in person. The chance to meet people behind the accounts, the makers, the collectors and friends from this community is always the best part.

Counting the days until Blade Show Texas.
At this point the 15 plus hour trip has turned into a yearly ritual. Long flights, airport coffee, zero sleep, all worth it the moment familiar faces show up and the conversations start rolling.
This show stopped being just an event a long time ago. It is the place where the community catches up, where new ideas get passed around, and where everyone finally shares what they have been working on all year.
Already know the hangouts will be legendary again.

A few weeks into a Damascus phase and it keeps pulling me back.

Lately there have been a few @crkt_knives pieces, and today it was the Zephyr. Such a great compact size, light and easy to forget until you actually need it.

Then there is that flip. Clean and smooth snap that makes you open it with pure joy. Aaaaand then there are the other ten times you open it without any real reason and to the annoyance of everyone else around you. 😅
Anyone who carries a good flipper knows that addiction. It never gets old.
